You will graduate with a depth of knowledge and skills in science and population health coupled with business skills, a strong foundation of basic sciences, skills for scientific investigation and critical thinking, knowledge of health in the community and personal and professional development.

Market research indicates graduates have excellent job prospects in the commonwealth, state and local government organisations, non-government organisations, research, the pharmaceutical industry and the biotechnology industry. The health industry has shown it is eager to employ our high quality health science graduates.
The Bachelor of Health Science offers flexibility in unit selection along with some core requirements. These requirements include the study of public health, the study of one science area, at least two business units, exposure to the work environment and a unit on professional practice. If you complete a combined degree, there is an increase in core requirements and major areas of study.
