This qualification will provide you with practical skills and knowledge in a range of metals and engineering production areas. You will learn skills in using tools, measuring and calculating, drawing and interpreting sketches and technical drawings, mechanical cutting, thermal cutting, forging and casting, and welding. You will also learn about safety in the workplace and quality control. You will practice the skills you have learned in a workshop environment.
