This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to perform a range of tasks in cooking and customer service. You will learn about the hospitality industry, hygiene and safety in the workplace and effective communication. You will also learn skills in preparing and presenting food for buffets, operating a fast food outlet, preparing, cooking and serving a range of hot and cold foods, maintaining supplies, cleaning, and quality control. You will practice the skills you have learned in a simulated work environment or at an appropriate hospitality establishment.
