Certificate II
This course will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to carry out basic sampling and/or testing as part of your duties in the construction, manufacturing, resources or environmental industries. You will learn skills to work as samplers and testers in production or field operations, some may work in a laboratory. You will be trained to use basic equipment to obtain samples and perform simple tests. In the course of your duties you will use a range of skills and knowledge to carry out, for example, a limited number of environmental sampling and monitoring tests on air conditioning units or cooling towers and/or a limited number of basic tests on geotechnical construction materials.
